After almost 10 years of good times as an integral part of the Balgowlah Heights village we are so excited about the total renovation of our shop! By completely gutting the shop and starting fresh, we’re thrilled to be able to offer an amazing new experience for our customers. We thank you all for your understanding and patience while the work has been carried out these past couple of weeks.
On a personal note, I am so grateful to have chosen the old Balgowlah Heights Butchery and more-so the surrounding community, as the base to build our business from. I have learnt and grown so much along the way and am lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people – from our family, to our team, suppliers and of course our wonderful customers – we have been so lucky to create a business we are proud of everyday.
2020 has been a very difficult year for all and everyone has had to adapt in different ways. As a team, we are so grateful for the patience and support you have shown us through this testing time. I have been continually impressed with how our staff have risen to the challenge with a smile on their faces and enjoyed the experience along the way. I can’t thank them enough for their dedication this year.
Our new shop
So, what will the new Millin’s look like? We have worked with an incredible shopfitter who has had his team working through the night to replace or refresh every single surface in the shop – even the coolroom has been relined – and in record time! Without giving too much away, it’s going to be very special and has been cleverly designed. The new space will provide a much better solution for everyone – more space for you to shop, more space for us to have products on display for you and importantly, we’ve made our work areas more practical and efficient. We’re also adding a small goods and deli selection with freshly sliced turkey, salami, prosciutto, ham and many more cooked meat products.
We can’t wait to get back to work and look forward to seeing you in store from next Monday, ready to place your Christmas orders!
